Disposable Memory Project

It seems to be the photo projects are catching my attention at the moment.  Maybe it's subconscious, although not that sub, guilt about not having used mine for months.

The Disposable Memory Project consists of 292 disposal cameras scattered around the world.  The idea, if you find one, to take a few photos and pass it on.  Currently 24 have been returned, 84 are still being used and 181 are missing in action.

Camera 59 remained in California...

Camera 47 covered Cornwall, Thailand and Cambodia.

Have a look, good time wasting...

No green jobs 365:3

Realised I'm not good at resisting fruity temptations.  Steve Jobs has a lot to answer for.  The only eco thing in this shot was the presentation I was working on.  Lame.  Very lame.

ZeGenius

ZeFrank really is genius, just a little bit....  A Childhood Walk....

Invites people to retrace their walk to school via Google street view and write down the memories conjured.

She does not know her beauty

Iyeoka Ivie Okoawo performed “She Does Not Know Her Beauty” about identity and pride at TED this year. I'm not really a poetry fan, but this is a pretty powerful reading.

Feed that meter

Super lovely idea and NEVER thought I'd like the sight of a parking meter.

Approximately 70 parking meters in Montreal are being used as piggy banks to help collect donations for the homeless.

Check out the video on YouTube for additional details.... a word of warning... it might test your school French.

It raised approx £14k in the first 3 years - which is seriously cool.
