Crikey, could you get a more inappropriate ad campaign?
Wowee, not sure they thought this one through, if they did then it's pretty tasteless! The Canary Islands are encouraging you to take planes this winter to visit them and somehow thought using a polar bear to illustrate this point made perfect sense. I'm thinking a plane, climate issue and a polar bear combo have an entirely different message!
Timing wise is interesting too seeing as the Copenhagen climate change summit is in full swing!
Not good.
The Canary's are already under attack for reclassifying some of their indigenous plants from 'endangered' to 'vulnerable' when they are still in dramatic decline. But hey, who needs lovely flora and forna when you can have another 2* self catering development!!? Silly silly people.
